Regardless of the purpose of your artwork, we give you our constructive opinion related to improving the quality of the artwork from a story point of view.
...Oh...and before we forget, there's a story in everything and most importantly, it's the most effective ingredient for making an image stronger.
I like the blog. 1. You obviously pick out great pieces to critique. (It's not like your finding an artist that just started out and tearing their work apart) 2. Pieces that most other people would ONLY say great job! 3. There is always room for improvement. 4. You are offering constructive critiques. (Artist need to be thick skinned, though that doesn't seem to be the case many times) -They can take your advice or leave it
Sometimes it can be difficult finding good critiques when work has most of the aesthetics correctly, focal point, depth, color, perspective... and I think your blog addresses this issue, focusing on story with is by far most important and overlooked.
I am no expert, but I have come a long way from where I was.
